Calling all new mamas (and their partners)! We know how incredibly demanding those first few postpartum weeks can be. Between nourishing your newborn and nourishing yourself, it's easy to let your own nutrition fall by the wayside. That's why we're thrilled to share this delicious and nutrient-packed Chocolate Cherry Berry Smoothie recipe, for 2!
Not only is it jam-packed with antioxidant-rich fruits, leafy greens, wholesome fats and protein to support recovery, but it's also an indulgent treat that will satisfy those nursing hunger pangs and sweet cravings. Best of all, it's easy enough for your partner to whip up in just a few minutes, ensuring you get the nourishment you need during those sleepless newborn days.
In a blender combine:
- 1 cup frozen dark cherries (can swap for frozen berries)
- 1 banana
