Key Nutrients

Vitamin A

Vitamin A is critical for growth of most cells and organs including eyes, heart, and lungs. Low vitamin A during pregnancy is associated with night blindness and anemia in mothers. Infants born to mothers with low vitamin A have increased risk for severe vision problems, heart defects, orofacial defects, delayed growth, and impaired lung function.

Vitamin B12

B12 is critical for reducing risk of infertility, miscarriage, gestational diabetes, preeclampsia, and preterm birth. Deficiency is associated with low birth weight, neural tube defects, serious heart defects, and childhood diabetes.

Choline

Choline is essential for your baby’s spinal cord and brain development, gene expression, and tissue production as well as possibly reducing risk of neural tube defects, autism, and Down syndrome.

Copper

Copper is needed for neurohormone regulation, proper gene expression, brain development, and immune function.

Vitamin D3

4,000 IU of vitamin D daily is shown to be most effective in reducing risks like miscarriage, preeclampsia, gestational diabetes, low birth weight, preterm birth, infections, and postpartum depression.

Methylfolate

Folate supplementation during pregnancy is proven to reduce risk of neural tube disorders and megaloblastic anemia, reduces other birth defects, preterm birth, and (if taken preconception) small-for-gestational-age.

Iodine

Mild to moderate iodine deficiency is common among women of childbearing age and low iodine levels may reduce chances of pregnancy.

FERROCHEL® IRON BISGLYCINATE

Iron is needed to make red blood cells and carry oxygen to all of mom’s and baby’s body tissues. Pregnant women need at least 50% more iron compared to non-pregnant women. Clinical research shows Ferrochel® is more bioavailable than many conventional iron forms and significantly less likely to cause the constipation and nausea commonly associated with ferrous sulfate. Better tolerability means better consistency, and consistency is what actually moves your iron levels.

Selenium

Low selenium levels has been linked to increase risk of miscarriage as well as damage to the nervous and immune systems of the developing baby. Selenium also supports healthy follicles within the ovaries which play a role in the development and release of the egg.

Zinc

Zinc supplementation during pregnancy has been associated with a reduction in preterm birth and lower risk of infections.

Acetyl L-Carnitine

L-carnitine has antioxidant-like properties, improves the quality of semen, and provides energy to sperm which improves sperm motility.

Vitamin B12

B12 has been shown to increase sperm count, improve sperm motility, and is vital for semen quality.

Vitamin C

Research indicates that vitamin C supplementation in infertile men can improve sperm count, sperm motility, and sperm quality towards conception.

CoQ10

Oxidative stress contributes to male infertility and research shows that CoQ10 supplementation improved sperm concentration, motility, and reduced oxidative stress markers.

Vitamin D3

For men’s fertility, vitamin D3 plays the most significant role in improving sperm motility.

Vitamin E

Research has demonstrated that supplementation of selenium and vitamin E may further enhance semen quality and sperm motility in infertile men.

Methylfolate

Methylation abnormalities of sperm have been linked to male infertility by negatively impacting sperm count and quality. About 50% of couples who struggle with infertility are due to male factors.

N-Acetyl-L-Cysteine

Research shows that NAC supplementation reduces oxidative damage, improves antioxidant status, and may improve sperm quality,volume, motility, and viscosity in infertile men.

Selenium

Low levels of selenium have been linked to poor semen quality and sperm motility. Research has also demonstrated that supplementation of selenium and vitamin E may further enhance semen quality and sperm motility in infertile men.

Zinc

Zinc is most recognized for its role in sperm formation, testosterone balance, maintaining the lining of reproductive organs, and supporting proper thyroid function.

"I’ve really been enjoying the WeNatal products so far! The Omega-3s have a nice lemon smell, and even the prenatals smell pleasant, which I really appreciate. The pills are pretty big, but I haven’t had any trouble swallowing them. I also haven’t experienced any stomach issues or discomfort, which is a huge plus for me. My favorite part is that I’m able to get what I need without having to take a bunch of different supplements. Overall, I’ve had a really good experience with them and definitely enjoy taking them!"

"After lots of research as a student midwife I settled on this multivitamin. It’s excellent, not an unreasonable number of capsules. One other note worthy thing is the peppermint inclusion. This can be a positive for those struggling with capsules or nausea and vomiting but is not ideal for those planning to breastfeed in the postpartum. It may not be enough to limit a robust milk supply but otherwise is an ideal supplement for the prenatal period."

"We started using wenatal for him and her in October 2025. Within a month I noticed a healthier period - more consistent and heavier flow. My period used to be 3 days and super light, after just one month it was 5-6days with more consistent bleed. We started TTC in February 2026 and within 3 tries we were successful. I really wanted a product that focused on quality ingredients and is an all in one for the most part. Their customer service from day one was above and beyond. "My husband and I love WeNatal. I really appreciate that there’s a formula for both women and men, because proper vitamin intake can play an important role for both partners. The world of prenatals can

"The world of prenatals can be so overwhelming, there are so many options out there. I did a lot of research on ingredients, the most optimized forms, researched backed supplements and recommended doses for baby development, etc. and WeNatal always came on top. There are other great and popular ones out there, but they are either missing something that makes you have to supplement separately or the doses were below the researched and recommended levels. WeNatal is so complete and so well formulated that it gives me peace of mind that my wife and baby are getting the optimal nutrients for their development and wellbeing.
