Key Nutrients

Choline

Choline is essential for your baby’s spinal cord and brain development, gene expression, and tissue production as well as possibly reducing risk of neural tube defects, autism, and Down syndrome.

Methylfolate

Folate supplementation during pregnancy is proven to reduce risk of neural tube disorders and megaloblastic anemia, reduces other birth defects, preterm birth, and (if taken preconception) small-for-gestational-age.

Iodine

Mild to moderate iodine deficiency is common among women of childbearing age and low iodine levels may reduce chances of pregnancy.

FERROCHEL® IRON BISGLYCINATE

Iron is needed to make red blood cells and carry oxygen to all of mom’s and baby’s body tissues. Pregnant women need at least 50% more iron compared to non-pregnant women. Clinical research shows Ferrochel® is more bioavailable than many conventional iron forms and significantly less likely to cause the constipation and nausea commonly associated with ferrous sulfate. Better tolerability means better consistency, and consistency is what actually moves your iron levels.

Selenium

Low selenium levels has been linked to increase risk of miscarriage as well as damage to the nervous and immune systems of the developing baby. Selenium also supports healthy follicles within the ovaries which play a role in the development and release of the egg.

Vitamin A

Vitamin A is critical for growth of most cells and organs including eyes, heart, and lungs. Low vitamin A during pregnancy is associated with night blindness and anemia in mothers. Infants born to mothers with low vitamin A have increased risk for severe vision problems, heart defects, orofacial defects, delayed growth, and impaired lung function.

Vitamin B12

B12 is critical for reducing risk of infertility, miscarriage, gestational diabetes, preeclampsia, and preterm birth. Deficiency is associated with low birth weight, neural tube defects, serious heart defects, and childhood diabetes.

Vitamin D3

4,000 IU of vitamin D daily is shown to be most effective in reducing risks like miscarriage, preeclampsia, gestational diabetes, low birth weight, preterm birth, infections, and postpartum depression.

Zinc

Zinc supplementation during pregnancy has been associated with a reduction in preterm birth and lower risk of infections.

Fish Oil

DHA is an essential part of the brain, eyes, and membrane of every cell. Higher levels have been associated with increased gestational length, low rate of preterm birth and low birth weight, reduced severity of perinatal depression, improved blood glucose control, reduced risk of preeclampsia, food allergies in infants, and higher IQ in the child and adult as they age.

DHA

DHA, in particular, is necessary for the growth and maturation of an infant’s brain and retina, and is required in larger amounts during pregnancy and the first few years following birth. During pregnancy, DHA is especially important for reducing the risk of preterm birth and preeclampsia, and for treating gestational diabetes.

DPA

Getting adequate omega-3s during pregnancy benefits baby's eye and brain development and may reduce preterm labor and childhood allergic conditions. For every 1% increase in omega-3 levels, the chances of getting pregnant and giving birth increased by 8%.

EPA

Several studies have shown that omega-3s are essential for overall female health and that supplementing omega-3s may help support healthy egg quality, delay ovarian aging, and improve pregnancy rates.

Additional Omega-3’s as TG

Omega-3s also help improve sperm quality, including sperm count, motility, and morphology. Research has found that men who had higher levels of omega-3s in their sperm had better sperm quality, including higher sperm count and motility and had higher total semen volume and higher levels of testosterone, all of which play an important role in male fertility and increasing chances of pregnancy.

I've been taking this supplement

"I've been taking this supplement for almost 3 years to support my first pregnancy, postpartum/nursing, and now second pregnancy nutrient needs! The ingredients are high quality and Wenatal doesn't skip any of the necessary nutrients needed during this heightened period of life for a woman's body (most supplements do, or hide behind ingredients that aren't even bioavailable for your body). I recommend this product to all my friends trying to get pregnant and beyond!"

I've been taking this fish

"I've been taking this fish oil for over 2 years because it's not fishy at all, and the pills are a great size for someone who hates taking pills. The pills are stored in such a way that when you smell them, they smell like lemon! Easy on a pregnant woman with an enhanced sense of smell. Highly recommend!"

I love everything about this

"I love everything about this brand and these supplements! I really feel a difference since taking both. Super clean ingredients, and I love that the WeNatal for Her includes vitamin D and choline, which is missing in a lot of other prenatals!"

Julia M. (5/5)

I have only been taking

"I have only been taking these prenatal vitamins for about a month or so but so far so good. I do not feel bad or anything after taking them and no fishy taste from the DHA+Duo. I love the packaging from the soft colors to the solid materials they are made of. And I think the best thing about this prenatal is that you only have to take 3 pills per day vs the 8 I was taking before. I also like that it has the iron in it already so that's one less pill too."

I love the prenatals! They

"I love the prenatals! They do not have a smell at all which has been the only one I've tried that I can stomach in the first trimester. I can feel good about what is inside and that I am getting everything I need. Bonus that the container is weighted and very nice to sit out in the bathroom."

Jessica D. (5/5)

After lots of research as

"After lots of research as a student midwife I settled on this multivitamin. It’s excellent, not an unreasonable number of capsules. One other note worthy thing is the peppermint inclusion. This can be a positive for those struggling with capsules or nausea and vomiting but is not ideal for those planning to breastfeed in the postpartum. It may not be enough to limit a robust milk supply but otherwise is an ideal supplement for the prenatal period."

The world of prenatals can

"The world of prenatals can be so overwhelming, there are so many options out there. I did a lot of research on ingredients, the most optimized forms, researched backed supplements and recommended doses for baby development, etc. and WeNatal always came on top. There are other great and popular ones out there, but they are either missing something that makes you have to supplement separately or the doses were below the researched and recommended levels. WeNatal is so complete and so well formulated that it gives me peace of mind that my wife and baby are getting the optimal nutrients for their development and wellbeing. Just to put the cherry on top, I showed her OBGYN and he literally said “Wow, this is the most complete prenatal I have seen”"

Packaging is so sleek and

"Packaging is so sleek and pretty. My first pack just came as I go on my IVF journey and i cant wait for the peace of mind ill have knowing my prenantals are clean, balanced and cover all my bases."

A company that cares

"I love this prenatal, the company, and their values! A high quality supplement created with so much intention and care. Their customer service is also wonderful. Definitely recommend!"

Emily G. (5/5)

I really wanted to love

"I really wanted to love these prenatal vitamins. I switched from Ritual, and was so sure that I finally found the complete prenatal. But it became harder and harder to swallow these pills without having to vomit right away. I think it's because of mint scent, I simply can't take them anymore 😭 I don't want switch my prenatals again but it's becoming an issue for me. I don't know what to do."
